# 404 page settings

This section offers all controls to set 404 error page layout.

1. Select a page template, you can either select default template or custom one, custom page can be created with any page builder like wpbackery or elementor. **[figure: 1.0]**
2. Select a page to use a 404 template, **This option requires custom page template option selected in step 1**. **[figure: 1.0]**
3. Select a layout for 404 error page. **[figure: 1.0]**
4. you can add 404 page content text from this option, Only works if **default 404 page template selected**. **[figure: 1.0]**
